Would it be silly and unnecessary to contact the coach? - Winter Sports
| Would it be silly and unnecessary to contact the coach? Ok, reference from my other questions; I am going to do sports for the very first time and I am going to be a freshman so I have no idea on what to do. I have several questions that cannot be answered clearly by just looking it up online so I was thinking about contacting the high school's soccer coach themselves. Well, I'm really nervous about introducing myself and asking them questions all of the sudden when they don't know me and I haven't started school yet. Should I wait? I don't have any/ much friends that are into sports so I don't have a choice there. I also moved a year ago so I'm not exactly familiar with everything yet. (but I'm determined to do sports) I'm a pretty shy person also so I am not good at contacting other people but I'm trying to get over it. Should I email the coach and introduce myself or wait until the last minute when the winter sports are going to start? I don't want to embarrass myself or annoy the coach. What should I do? |
