Tools and equipment for rock climbing

Hello there forum goers, I would like to inquire about the essential tools and equipments I would need if I am to go rock climbing. I know I can just go ahead and speak directly to a contact or expert in this kinds of stuff but so far I don't have a friend whose well-acquainted in that hobby. I would also want a shop which offer a cheaper price for such equipments and tools. Hope you can help an inspiring climber.
