| Is Oscar Delahoya the new Vince Mcmahon? Ring reporters did a piece on the undercard of the Pacquiao Clottey fight, and there was no mention of the fact that the fights were ridiculous. I think boxing is being managed more and more like professional wrestiling. Gomez retiring castillo seems very set up to me. It also seems to me there is a conflict of interest between the writers and the promoters. This is terrible for the sport of boxing since it is supposed to be a real sport (as opposed to professional wrestling). Please correct me if i'm off base here. |
| I don't think Oscar Dela Hoya can be the new Vince Mcmahon. I presume Mcmahon is American professional wrestling promoter and he has a lot of achievements in the field of wrestling. On the other hand, Oscar dela Hoya is a retired boxer who is famous as the "The Golden Boy." This is his own mark. No one can replace his position as the "The Golden Boy." I admire his strength actually. |
| I think that the two has their different position in their respective field. I admire both Vince Mcmahon and Oscar Delahoya though they have these differences as fighters. I think Delahoya would never be the next Mcmahon as Mcmahon cannot be Delahoya at any ways. But anyway, thanks for sharing in here. It is nice to hear from those huge fans like me. | I still believe that boxing is still a real sport because it's anybody's fight, unlike those wrestling federations that have scripted fights and already predetermine the winner. Manny Pacquiao is a world-renowned professional boxer because a lot of people all over the world love how he fights to the finish to knock out his opponents. I don't think there's anything scripted in any of his fights. He won in all of them, fair and square. |
| Oscar Delahoya and Vince Mcmahon are two different persons with different titles. They played boxing and win titles to honor themselves and their country. I believe that the two of them are incomparable. They have gone that far and they deserve special and unique titles. I agree with you Frances, Manny Pacquiao is my favorite boxer. He has this great strength, endurance and determination to win his every game and I really admire it. And despite his current social status, he still remained humble. |
| Hi there! Boxing now is a wide known sports in the woorld. a side from the fact that Manny Pacman Pacquiao made a great change, people who re engage in this sports are also affected, luckily... Oscar Delahoya , a good if not the best boxer in the world turniing to one of the riches in the most popular promoter in town(Golden Boy).Is Oscar Delahoya the new Vince Mcmahon? maybe, in the near future I guess..
