Why are street fights so much nastier now than they used to be? - Martial Arts
| Why are street fights so much nastier now than they used to be? In the 70's when I was going to rumbles and barfighting you and the guy took some shots at each other and that was usually it. You walked away shouting insults or shaking hands. Now I see street fights and its three on one and sometimes four and five and the lads are pouding and kicking a senseless body. What the hell happened? Is Bruce Lee to blame? After all he invented the fight movie, in which the movie is a vehicle for fights rather than fights being devices that fit into the larger picture of a movie. Or is it just that so many people are trained in martial arts that you are getting a whole new bunch of people into street fighting? |
