What to do in a talent show? My class is having a talent show and I dont know what I should do in it. Im a sophmore, and singing, dancing, and gymnastic type stuff is out. Any ideas???
Why not do some magic. There are good magic tricks out there that are easy to be learned and the whole crowd would enjoy your performance if you would accompany something cute in your act, right? So what are you waiting for, go and search for some tricks on the net and practice your act. Good day to all and it would be nice if you could update us with what happened in your performance.
Well you should think first what special aptitude you have and that could be the best thing you can present in the show. As for me, gymnastic is still really impressing, how you show the flexibility of your body. At the same time, you can also manifest good coordination, balance and grace which I think is really eye-catching. But you still have your own choice. Good luck to you, anyway.
Talent show is a fine and a mixed type of art. It's fabulous and very entertaining to everyone. Well, if you find it difficult what talent you have to show up then you must think what are your abilities or things you are confident to do. It's a matter of versatility and trust in your self, you can have a remix of talents at a time like doing some paintings while singing. But it is still your choice in the end so don't limit your abilities be confident and practice your skills for improvement. Good Luck and God Bless!
Why not try storytelling? I mean old fashioned medieval like storytelling? If your articulate enough then this could go over really well. Pretend you're a court jester from days bygone and regale the crowd with a story about a fair maiden cruelly trapped by an evil dragon and then rescued by a brave knight? I've seen the same plot done both well and terribly. If done well, there's no nee for other props, just a booming voice.
The common mistake most participants in a talent show commits is presenting all her skills in one go which often feel forced and unimpressive. I suggest you first check what amongst your three expertise do you excel the most and try to focus there. Or you can mix up to two skills, how about dancing and gymnastics or singing and dancing. Don't try singing, dancing and gymnastics in one go as it may turn out bad. How about watching the musical film "Chicago" starring Renee Zelweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones for ideas and concepts.
