Questions: which cheerleading team should i be on?

i'm in 11th grade and i definitely want to be a cheerleader. i've only had cheerleading experience in elementary school and we didn't really do any flips, or splits, so i do not know how to split, flip do a cartwheel or back flip. so i thought maybe i should be on junior varsity. what do you think? and in varsity do they teach you how to do the gymnastic moves?
