| Infinite world of chessThatīs right "infinite world" is correct. Just set up the pieces and watch them and think about it. Try to think one, then two, then three moves ahead. What will I do, then what will my partner (or can) do, that starts your mind functioning. You develop a "graphic" view of the world, you can actually SEE the developing situation. After you get that series of moves, get yourself a good introductory chess manual. Study the beginnings, just the beginnings. You have all the time in the world to study chess, itīs a life long love affair. Then, after a while, get yourself a good oponent, pretty much your own level. Important point: Iīve seen people give up on chess because they found a really good dude that gave them a good beating during a couple of early games. They then fell into the "loserīs depression" and gave up. Good luck. |
