| Medieval sportsThe world was a different place back a few hundred years ago. If we go back to the times of the Roman Empire, we see that they were very far away from human rights and other "feel good" ideas like that. Well, "feel good" because generally speaking much of them are not applied if we look at the daily newspaper. Human rights are generally violated everywhere. But, regarding boxing and fighting I see them as equivalents of sending gladiators into a ring to kill each other. If you stand there and watch two men savagely beating each other, what´s the difference with what went on in the Colosseum? I know, many will not agree, but I stand my ground. Take care, Cheers! |
| In the Philippines, one of he most popular and known sports we have except for Basketball is Boxing. any of course, will agree that, Manny Pacquiao is the most famous person in this field. It is not surprising though that people are really captivated on any inf and news about that field. Many sessions and practice are conducted to have this sports introduce to everybody. I hope we can produce more athletes. |
