Jarabacoa (Dominican Republic) white water sports

Rafting in Jarabacoa is a dream. This town is about two hours away from Santo Domingo, on the way to the Central Mountain Range (Cordillera Central), on the way to Constanza.

After Jarabacoa you head for Manabao, up a beautiful mountain road with great views for photographers.

About half way up you get to a spot that leads you down the mountain to the the level of the Yaque del Norte River. The rafts will be waiting there for you.

Prepare for the rafting experience of your life.

The river is fairly wide at some points and narrows down sometimes making some really fast jumps and exciting turns.
